Sunday, August 5 - Kenny Barron, Live! NEA Jazz Master Barron's unmatched ability to mesmerize audiences with his elegant playing, sensitive melodies and infectious rhythms has earned him the honor of "one of the top jazz pianists in the world." Duncan Hardy and his local quintet will open with a tribute to Barron, "By and For Kenny." Tickets: $15 - $40

Thurs & Fri, August 2-3 - Jazz Poetry: 100 Years of Lobsters! Saxophonist Roy Nathanson and beat boxer Napoleon Maddox lead local poets and musicians in a 2-day workshop and Friday evening presentation blending spoken word and jazz. Tickets: $10

Sat, August 4 - Roy Nathanson and is irreverent group, that somehow manages to orbit both the Marx Brothers and Sun Ra, in concert. George Stevens Academy's 1st-place combo, Intrepid Ensemble, will open. Tickets: $15 - $35
