Saratoga Jazz Festival

The 35th Annual Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival in Saratoga Springs, NY on June 30 & July 1, 2012. The festival presents the best names in jazz, R&B, Latin and world music. The Saratoga Festival will welcome more than 20 artists and groups who will play on one of two stages at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Headliners include Trombone Shorty, Diana Krall, Chris Botti, Esperanza Spalding, Hiromi Trio Project, Yellowjackets, and Maceo Parker, This year’s festival will also feature performances by Christian McBride and Inside Straight, Arturo O’Farrill Latin Jazz Orchestra, Trio of Oz (featuring Omar Hakim and Rachel Z), the Jeremy Pelt Quintet, Catherine Russell, Edmar Castaneda and others.

The action onstage begins each day at noon continues into the evening and night. The music will be complimented offstage by a fine arts and crafts fair, CD signings by artists, food vendors, and a children’s craft area. Guests may bring in their own food and beverages, as well as blankets, tents and lawn umbrellas. Parking for the event is free.
