Joe Lovano with the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra

Grammy Award winning saxophonist Joe Lovano joins the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra, conducted by James Burton III, on Tuesday, January 24 at 8 PM in Juilliard’s Peter Jay Sharp Theater. He performs big band arrangements of many of his own compositions, originally written for various ensembles. Among the albums he will draw from include “Trio Fascination (2008),” “52nd Street Themes (2000),” and his big band and symphony orchestra, “Symphonica (2008).” FREE tickets will be available beginning January 10 at the Kramer Box Office at Juilliard.
