Harmony - One Soung, One People, One Evening
Dec 03, 2011 06:00 PM - 08:00 PM
Ella lived on Murdock Avenue. Count lived on Adelaide Road. Fats lived in Addisleigh Park. Lena lived on 178th Street. They all lived in Queens at one time in their careers and now Stephanie Fisher reunites the sultry sounds of the legends of jazz as “Harmony” fills the air. This celebration of music will expose and reintroduce the community to different stylings of popular jazz selections. In addition to jazz, guests will also enjoy contemporary, classical, and gospel selections.
This one night only performance, featuring Ms. Fisher, Eric Reed, Shedrick Mitchell, and Melonie Daniels will be held December 3, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at The Performing Arts Center @ York College located at 94-45 Guy R. Brewer Blvd., Jamaica, NY 11451.
