Harold Mabern Quartet featuring Eric Alexander at Shea Center for Performing Arts

The powerful pianist and composer Harold Mabern has been a member of William Paterson's adjunct jazz faculty for more than thirty years. The Memphis native established a reputation in the early 1960s as a pianist with Miles Davis, The Jazztet, Jimmy Forrest, and more. This performance features his ongoing collaborators, bassist Jon Webber, and former William Paterson students, saxophonist Eric Alexander and drummer Joe Farnsworth. Sittin' In Meet-the-Artist session begins at 3 p.m. in Shea 101.
