Matt Wilson Quartet at Shea Center for Performing Arts

Drummer and bandleader Matt Wilson has nine CDs under his own name and has appeared on more than 250 others as a sideman. He was recently noted for his "Jazz for Young People" concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center and as an artist-in-residence at the Litchfield Jazz Festival. Wilson's quartet features saxophonist Jeff Lederer, cornetist Kirk Knuffke, and bassist Chris Lightcap. Sittin'In Meet-the-Artist session begins at 3 p.m. in Shea 101.
