Jay Leonhart Trio at Shea Center for Performing Arts

Bassist and vocalist Jay Leonhart's career has spanned five decades during which he has performed with Thad Jones, Tony Bennett, Marian McPartland, and more. His latest acclaimed endeavor is a one-man band show, The Bass Lesson. His trio for this performance will include drummer and Diva Big Band leader Sherrie Maricle and jazz pianist John Colianni. Sittin' In Meet- the- Artist Session begins at 3 p.m. in Shea 101.
