On September 8, Jazz Saxophonist Chelsea Baratz will be performing New Orleans themed music alongside DJ Rob Swift and Variety Star Empress Olga at Ella Lounge, NYC.

"The Beautiful City", a portrait of present-day New Orleans and the history that shaped it
What role do the arts really play in the crescent city, ponders Clarke Peters of HBO’s Treme. Through the stories of drummer/vibraphonist Jason Marsalis, theater artist John O’Neal and Mardi Gras Indian Chief Monk Boudreaux, "The Beautiful City" seeks answers. And paints a picture of a city caught between traditions and innovations, driven by a tumultuous past and hopeful visions of the future.
