2012 South Florida JAZZ Concert Series - David Sanchez Group with Stefon Harris

Tenor saxophonist David Sanchez (Puerto Rico), pianist Edward Simon (Venezuela), and spectacular drummer Antonio Sanchez (Mexico) are Latin musicians who play jazz, rather than musicians who play Latin jazz, a major distinction. While the music might be flavored by their heritage, it definitely will be serious, original jazz. Forget labels. Stefon Harris, Jazz Journalists Association Mallet Player of the Year, appears as a special guest, which means the band will be en fuego!
