Sons of Legends at Zinc Bar

Sons of Legends (“S.O.L.”) is a new Latin Jazz band composed of the sons of some of Latin Jazz’s greatest musicians. The band is led by Phoenix Rivera, one of the top drummers on the New York jazz scene and son of the immortal Mario Rivera, the great Dominican saxophonist. Tito Puente, Jr., plays timbales, son of the legendary Tito Puente (“El Rey”), who led his orchestra on the same instrument and the vibes for half a century. Miles Dalto learned to play his piano at the feet of his father, the great Jorge Dalto. With Ismael "Bongo" Bruno on percussion, Yunior Terry on bass, Peter Brainin on sax, and Jim Seeley on trumpet.
