The ExPosed Blues Duo

The Exposed Blues Duo, featuring vocalist Fay Victor and guitarist Anders Nilsson, will play its final gig of the year at The Local 269 in New York.

This performance, part of the venue's ongoing EVOLVING Voice & Music Series presented in cooperation with Rise Up Creative Music and Arts (RUCMA), will feature brand new music, as well as selections from the group's 2010 debut, BARE (Greene Avenue Music).

The duo's repertoire features unconventional versions of the jazz standards "Mood Indigo," "Blue Monk," and "Rockin' Chair," as well as the traditional spiritual "Joshua Fit The Battle Of Jericho" and early 20th century blues music from Blind Boy Fuller, Reverend Gary Davis, Gerald Marks and Buddy Fields, and Lewis Simpkins and Memphis Slim.
