Jazz On Edge, an annual festival celebrating creative musicians performing their own work, features Venezuelan composer/performer Edward Simon in one of his few Central Florida performances; the Orlando-area debut of the Tiptons Saxophone Quartet, fresh from a tour of Europe; and an “after hours” jam with critically acclaimed New York trumpeter Brian Groder and special guests. Starting the weekend is a free "Fridays on the Plaza" concert with the Fellsway Trio on Feb 5, and a free preshow performance by the Lakeview Middle School Jazz Band on Feb 6. Tickets for the 7:30 show on Feb 6 are $25, $22 students/seniors.
