"If you’re lucky enough to have seen Yugoslavian filmmaker Emir Kusturica’s gangsta fantasy Black Cat, White Cat, you know how rollicking and infectious Gypsy music from the Balkans can be. Guitarist-singer Bato the Yugo ups the ante with this wildly ambitious dance band, topped off by the leader’s mystic growl."- TIME OUT NY, editors pick
