Lisa Gay and The Gentlemen of Thrill is a “musical gumbo” with a new twist of Classic Soul/R&B/Jazz, Pop and Funk delivers a sonic quality that creates real music played with true passion, vision, and a lot of love. Presented by Dolores Peterson, they bring "A Jazzy Celebration of Life" Show on the eve of Father's Day to The Hollywood Studio Bar & Grill on Sunset at Gower for what promises to be a night not to be missed but remembered by all! The group formally based in the Los Angeles now the Inland Empire area, is lead by the sultry vocal styling of consummate pro Lisa Gay who has performed over the years with many recording and touring artists such as Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr., Joe Cocker, Chuck Rainey, Letta Mbulu and others. Lisa is a unique song stylist like no other with a range and sound reminiscent of Phyllis Hyman, Ella, and the Divine Miss Sarah. “The Gentlemen of Thrill” band grooves, swings, funks, and percolates under the Musical Director of legendary Rhythm and Blues Guitarist Tony Drake (Lou Rawls, Barry White, Della Reese) and features some of the most stellar recording and live concert recording musicians such as Grammy Award winning Concert Master Violinist Mark Cargill (Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, Justin Timberlake, Outkast) , Charles Love on Piano & Electronic Synthesizers (Norman Brown, Stevie Wonder,),Bassist Jason Langley, (Patti Labelle, Dr. John, Josh Stone), anchored this evening by the one and only Legendary Drummer Quentin Dennard (Motown All Star). Lisa has delivered this high caliber of stoic rotating musicianship with a developed following through the internet (i.e.,Soul-Patrol.com, Netherlands Jazz & BluesTour) and locally from LIVE performances at the Knitting Factory and Gardenia Room both in Hollywood, along with many music festivals such as “The Vino Jazz Festival with Nancy Wilson”, “The Worldfest”, “The Real Jazz & Soul Festival”, “National Minority Aids Events (NMAC)”, special private, environmental, non-profit, political, music industry, and self-produced charitable events such as “The Teacher Honors Awards” held at the former Conga Room on Wilshire, “The Charles “Dolo” Coker Jazz Scholarship Foundation”, Sherman Oaks Street Festival” educational event, and was the main event featured throughout the evening for now Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s 2005 March primary which was televised globally.

Lisa Gay and The Gentlemen of Thrill brings diverse audiences of all ages to their feet with “smiles”and dancing everywhere and currently host their own “Open Mic & Jam Fest” at the newly opened, “Alley Kat Jazz Lounge” in Rialto, California and are currently recording the long awaited, “Life, Love, & Music”CD scheduled for early 2010 release date under Lisa’s own “Clemenza Record Label”.
