Funchal Jazz Festival

The first Funchal Jazz edition took place in 2000 and since then it has grown as one of the most significant cultural events in Madeira Island.

With the beautiful Jardins Quinta Magnólia as scenery, the Festival featured some of the most acclaimed artists of the international Jazz scene: Dianne Reeves, Arturo Sandoval, Eliane Elias, Tania Maria, Nicholas Payton, Brecker Brothers, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dave Brubeck, Toots Thielemans, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, McCoy Tyner.

During the years Funchal Jazz conquered an important place in the international Jazz festivals circuits and largely contributed to enhance the visibility of Madeira as a touristic destination.
