Born in Houston, Texas. Started saxophone at 12 years old. Attended St. Thomas HS and Berkley School of Music in Boston.
Started working steady in 1963. Played clubs around Houston, studied Bassoon at Univ of Houston, Studied flute under Byron Hester (Houston Symphony). On the road all over US. Bandleader and Front Man lots of years in Houston. Later into real estate and sold new homes. Got throat cancer in 2008. So far, a cancer survivor. Recovering in Chapala, Jalisco MX.
