About Brian Zimmerman
Brian Zimmerman is a musician, writer, and graduate student living in New York City. Originally from Ft. Lauderdale, hometown of Cannonball Adderley and Jaco Pastorius, Brian started playing trumpet at an early age. Drawing from the diverse cultures that surrounded him, Brian strove to make his mark on South Florida's budding jazz scene. He participated in several All-County Jazz bands throughout his high school career and made the All-State Jazz Band two years in a row. When he's not studying or writing research papers, Brian can be found jamming at some of New York's hottest jazz clubs.
