On the second night Ottawa native Jenn Hardy moved to Montreal, she fell in love-- with jazz music and the city's thriving scene. Working as a full time freelance journalist, Jenn usually takes nights off to check out gigs at one of Montreal's many jazz venues. She was recently inspired to create Pork Pie Jazz-- a website about Montreal's jazz scene from the point of view of a fan and friend. When she is not writing about jazz she is probably writing about sustainable agriculture or left-wing politics.
