About Karen Brundage-Johnson
Karen is an executive in the Hospitality industry. She is a contributing author in “Beyond the Body! Developing Inner Beauty”, a dynamic twenty-five chapter book and journal dedicated to the emotional, mental & spiritual wellness of women. Karen volunteers as the Public Relations Chairperson and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. As Public Relations Chairperson, she informs the public of the activities of the Chapter, prepares the press releases, and schedule media interviews. Karen founded the Readers Journey Book Club Network with the goal of bringing book clubs together to fellowship and experience African-American author discussions. In 2008, the Readers Journey Book Club Network was featured in Essence Magazine with author Gloria Naylor (The Women of Brewster Place). Karen enjoys jazz music, writing, and volunteering for charitable fundraising initiatives. Karen and her husband Ben Johnson a noted Jazz photographer, collaborate on documenting live jazz performances.
