CD project Havana Nights - Mike Garvan Group
Cape Cod pianist Mike Garvan is living out one of his dreams -- his original compositions are being recorded by some of the best musicians of our time. He could never have guessed the catalyst would be attending a choral concert at a local school.

Cheryl Kain has written features on jazz singers Stephanie Jordan and Shawnn Monteiro, NY’s Finest Jazz Ensemble, Linda Eder and Chubby Checker. A music editor for numerous Cape Cod publications, she's been a contract writer since 2006 for Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. Kain sang the national anthem at Fenway Park and Dodger Stadium, and performed for years at Art D'Lugoff's Village Gate in Manhattan. She performs regionally with her jazz trio.
