It’s impossible to have read the work of bestselling mystery novelist Michael Connelly, particularly his narratives featuring detective Harry Bosch, without coming to the realization that jazz plays a huge role in the author’s life. Jazz often finds its way into Connelly’s stories and, in 2003, he even produced a CD, Dark Sacred Night, The Music of Harry Bosch.
