About Kit Tenerelli

Kit, named Steve at the time, worked for 22 years in education, from toddlers to teens. Kit taught theatre arts education to students as an artist-in-residence in schools, afterschool programs, summer theatre intensives, and Wavy Gravy's Camp Winnarainbow for the Performing Arts, focusing on student generated work. Kit graduated from the Dell'Arte School of Physical Theatre in 1993, and later became the youth services director for Dell'Arte. Kit supplemented Dell'Arte's school residency program by instituting exemplary arts out-of-school programs; the Dell'Arte Summer Academy, a two week course featuring workshop style classes culminating in a show written by the students; and the Dell'Arte Teen Ensemble, which featured three act plays created and produced by the teens. Kit was disabled by a work accident, and had to leave Dell'Arte in 2008.
