Pamela Chiarappa was born in Bari Italy, a seaside town on the Eastern coast of Italy. She began to take piano lessons at eight years of age and continued to study classical piano for six years. She continued to play and sing by ear, composing her own simple melodies inspired by her emotions and from old LP’s, radio and movies. All those events helped develop her creativity. She started performing professionally after high school, playing with her “melodic-rock band.” Pamela received her BA in Drama, Arts and Music Studies from the University of Bologna, Italy. While at NYU Steinhardt, she has studied with Kristen Ruiz and Artist Faculty member Andy Milne.
