About W. Kim Heron

Editor of Metro Times (Detroit). Longtime jazz listener, writer and (on a lesser level than the aforementioned) bongo player. Contributor to the now-out-of-print "Music Hound Jazz" book, 17-year jazz radio host in Detroit ("Destination Out," later renamed "The Kim Heron Program") on WDET-FM. His photographs accompanied the 2002 Jazz Times article "Roy Brooks: Hard bop hard time" by Jim Dulzo.
