British expat and Washington DC based musician, Ken Avis, currently performs as acoustic guitarist with his wife, French Canadian vocalist Lynn Veronneau in the band 'Veronneau'.

Veronneau are a multinational, acoustic, song based, band performing in 4 languages. Their music runs from bossa nova to retro swing, to gypsy jazz and beyond.

Nominated for three Washington Area Music Awards for Best Jazz Band, Best Jazz Vocals and Best Newcomers in 2010, the bands debut cd 'Joie de Vivre - Joy of Living' rose to #9 on the Jazzweek World Music chart and spent 10 weeks in the chart in 2011.

In addition to performing extensively in the North Eastern region of the USA the band completed a UK tour playing festivals and clubs in July 2011, and performed a live set and interview on BBC radio. They will be touring Canada during the fall and are preparing to complete a new recording in 2012.
