About Gigi Brooks
Gigi Brooks, producer, programmer and host of GG’s Steamin’ Greens formally aired for three years on NPR affiliate station, WUCF 89.9 Jazz and more in Orlando, Florida has been collecting jazz records since the age of 8 years old. Her first jazz radio show, “Gina’s Jazz”, aired on WHPK 88.5 in Chicago, at the age of 15.

Gigi is a well respected jazz aficionado. Her current series “GG’s Jazz Greats and Legends” has been noted as “The #1 Jazz Series in America and The World” which features weekly live interviews with some of the greatest jazz musicians alive today. Her featured guests have included: Dr. Benny Golson, Christian Mc Bride, Alphonse Mouzon, ‘Little’ Jimmy Scott, Jimmy Heath, Wallace Roney, Dr. Yusef Lateef, Toots Thielemans, Jimmy Cobb, Cassandra Wilson, Bennie Maupin, Cyrus Chestnut, Dave Liebman, Stanley Clarke, Patrice Rushen, George Duke, Delfeayo Marsalis, Regina Carter, Bobby Watson, Marlena Shaw, Randy Brecker, Paul Carr, Carmen Lundy, Ron Carter, Marcus Miller, Herbie Hancock, Dr. Bill Cosby and more.
Gigi also participates at major events and festivals as an MC Announcer and helps promote some of the best concerts to date.
