About William Moon

William S. Moon - arranger, composer, lyricist, conductor, teacher. Retired Instrumental music teacher - Metro Nashville (TN) Public Schools. Teaching experience at colleges and secondary schools in Tennessee and North Carolina
and as a private instructor in flute and saxophone. Playing experience ranges from Opera to Top 40 bands. Former military bandsman (USAF). Freelance player and arranger in Nashville, TN. and central North Carolina areas. Composer and/or arranger of music for piano, voice, stage band, woodwind chamber groups, church choir, Jazz/pop combos. M.A. degree from Tennessee State University with further graduate study at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Currently keyboard player with the Lakewood Blues & Jazz Band and Director of the Men’s Ensemble at Seay-Hubbard United Methodist Church
