About Rick Trivane

Jazz lover since I first listened to Dave Brubeck's DAVE DIGS DISNEY in the fall of 1957 when I was a junior in high school in Linden, NJ when my friend from Easton, PA, Dave Powell, played it for me at his house when I was visiting him during a weekend when he was home from his first year at college. When I moved to Trenton, NJ in 1964 as a recent graduate of the New York Institute of Photography after serving a 1-year apprenticeship to South Orange NJ's most prominent portrait photographer, Eric Wagman, I discovered FM WHAT and Sidd Mark's Friday With Frank. WHAT was mostly all jazz at that time.
