About Stan Modjesky

Stan is a second-generation musician who has been playing trumpet since the age of eight. He currently freelances in the Baltimore area, and works as a musician for the MD State Military Department in which capacity he has rendered Taps at nearly 500 funerals in the last 18 months, as well as performing other military ceremonial music.

His real love is trad jazz, but as Stan observes, "Ya gotta make a living, and I am just thrilled to be able to do it making any kind of music."
