About Francois Laforgia

Francois is a French photographer. Between 2005 and 2010 he lived the 5 years in San Francisco, CA. During this time he took photography classes and started to do nature photography. Francois is a Jazz lover since a long time and In 2008 he met jazz artists and start to photography them and soon he did only music photography.Francois had is own exhibit called "Portraits of Jazz" and he has 5 pictures in permanent exhibit at the San Francisco Jazz Heritage Center.
Since his return to France, Francois continues to photography artists on stage with a focus on Jazz artists. His pictures are permanently displayed in a Jazz Club in Versailles.
In his work Francois emphasizes the emotion, the magical moment when the music comes from the soul.
His models are Hermann Leonard, Francis Wolff and Christian Ducasse.
