About Paul J. Youngman

Youngman-young_thumb

My passion is Jazz, as a way of life. I am an independent journalist who covers jazz concerts, jazz festivals, jazz clubs, CD record release shows as well as jazz or jazz inspired CD's, DVD's and books. My handle, KJA Jazz Advocate stands for Keep Jazz Alive, cliche I know. However the enthusiastic response I receive from the many jazz artist's I speak to, is inspirational and keeps me believing that what I do is similar to that one grain of sand building an island in the sea. I have always had an interest in writing, I have written short stories, lyrics and poetry.
