About Sylvia Levine Leitch
Sylvia Levine-Leitch is a freelance writer who also manages the editorial department of DDB, a New York marketing communications agency. Before moving to the editorial side of advertising, Sylvia was the managing editor of Laundry News, the New York-based trade paper of the institutional laundry industry. Several hundred of her articles have appeared in the Toronto Star and other Canadian publications, and her press releases have been picked up verbatim by myriad jazz rags and concert promoters. She is married to and manages the career of Peter Leitch, the jazz guitarist, and has sat on many a barstool in many a jazz club far into the night.
