About Matthew's Blog (
This Shape of Jazz: My writings about different albums primarily from the 1960s of the avant-garde. However, I may touch on titles pertaining to bop, hard-bop, soul jazz and post bop as I find these to be equally as important to me.

My intentions of the blog is to have it be a tool to expand my concepts and writings about artists and recordings. Hoping it will allow me to further digest more music and have my thoughts be sustained digitally.
