Kandie (jazzylover59) has been an avid jazz enthusiast and researchist since meeting Russell Malone and Benny Green at the Centrum/Port Townsend Jazz Festival 2005, in the State of Washington where she was born and raised.

Her daughter, Ashley, is a jazz pianist.
