KCC Productions presents Bobby Martinez at WDNA Jazz Gallery

Born in Philadelphia, PA, of Cuban parents, and raised in Miami, FL, Bobby started on sax at the age of 6, and at 15 went to Miami Dade Community College where he started learning jazz with John Georgini. At the age of 21 he moved to NY for two years where he got lessons from Eddie Daniels, and later returned to Miami.
Martinez has produced six albums with such guests as Paquito D'Rivera, Alone Yavnai, Mario Morejon "el Indio", Perico Sambeat, Israel Sandoval. Marc Antoine, and Eva Cortes. He has worked side by side and with artists such as Paquito D'Rivera, Michael Mossman, Rosario Guliani, Kirk Macdonalds, Tony Lakatos, Ben Sidran, Michael Mossman, Perico Sambeat, Richie Cole, Javier Colina, Paco de Lucia, Joe Williams, and more.
Bobby tours all of Europe, playing at such festivals as: Montreux, Marsiac, Aarhus, Vitoria, San Sebastian, Madrid, Galapajazz, Krasnodar, and Marsella jazz festivals.
