This is the 10th anniversary since the debut release way back in 2002.
The album sweeps effortlessly in and out of all the genres of Jazz incorporating a vibe soulful throughout the whole album and includes the Delicious vocals of N'dea Davenport (Brand New Heavies & Guru s Jazzmatazz project) , Studnitzky.,Andy Herbertson and they introduce The new voice of [re:jazz] : the singer "Mediha".
The album includes "Don't Push Your Luck" Ft N'dea Davenport which kicks off the album and is firmly based in a retro UK Jazz Funk groove this will be the dance floor filler.
There is the beautiful laid back "Wonders Of The World" with a lovely soulful feel laid down by Mediha and including some muted jazzy trumpet licks very much in the Miles (Davies) style.
Then there is the nu- jazz dancer "It's All Good" Featuring this time Nekta with a solid beat and a lovely trumpet throughout .
Among the vocal tracks there is stunning instrumentals including "Windy City" (with some sax work that Stan Getz would be proud of) and the gloriously piano lead "Murmuration"
This is a sublime album, from Germany's most successful jazz group with more than 80.000 copies sold and over 80 contributions to compilations worldwide.
There are 12 tracks included
