If you're like lots of people, the possibilities of building your own online website business interests you. Buy you may be intimidated by all of the technical jargon available.
You might want to would get you forever to understand how - or that there are just too much to cover.
But that's actually not true.
The thing is, about Ten years ago, that could have been true. It was quite technical to build an internet site - and even harder to make money with it.
However nowadays things have changed drastically. Here are 3 reasons why anyone can build their own web site to generate income.
#1 Easier-To-Learn Website-Building Tools
When I began building websites, you had limited options. Most people bought software like Dreamweaver (that was very expensive - and difficult to learn to use) and spent a few months practicing onto it.
They built their website offline after which used FTP to uploaded it around the world Wide Web through their webhosting service.
You typically needed at least some rudimentary programming knowledge and know HTML to construct a half-way decent-looking site.
It may be slow and arduous - specifically for those of us who aren't that technically savvy.
But that's actually not your only option anymore. When you can continue to use old methods if you choose, there's a lot of new, simpler tools will construct your site. And the very good news is you don't have to know any programming to get it done.
There are WYSIWYG site builders and drag-and-drop web design tools. You can get super-simple software or construct your site online.
For example, I recently tested out 2 new website builders - and both of them required fewer than half a day to understand (and I am not a techie at all - I still have to call my husband to update my trojan software).
So there are better website builders out there - builders making it simple for you to create and design a show-stopping website - without you needing to learn a single line of code!
#2 You've Something Unique To express and Share With Others
One more reason that anyone can create a website is the fact that everybody has something unique to say and tell the world.
People believe that there are so many websites available that they couldn't possibly compete. But that is simply not true.
OK, which means you probably shouldn't go head-to-head with Amazon or Best to buy. However i guarantee you that you can contribute something that others haven't heard before - simply because of your unique view and activities.
For example, there are tons and tons of websites available regarding how to create a website. Only one thing I noticed was that many of them were too technical (because they were compiled by very smart, tech-savvy people who'd build tens or countless websites using programming, CSS, PHP etc).
So that they were completely intimidating for any newbie.
Several friends of mine (is not I'd been making my living full time from my website businesses) kept complaining to me about how exactly they desired to build a website - but didn't understand all the mumbo-jumbo available.
They simply wanted an easy, straightforward, step-by-step guide for people who didn't would like to learn programming or spend months designing a site.
So I started a site to assist these friends - and others - regarding how to create a website for novices who didn't know a type of code. It is a niche site - creating a website - but specifically and only for beginners.
I've another friend who is a diabetic. Instead of creating a massive site on diabetes (which is a big subject), she centered on her particular interest - natural supplements that they finds beneficial in lowering her blood sugar levels.
Another friend is using her skills like a raw food chef to create a video series she'll sell from her website, teaching people ways to get healthy with raw foods.
There are so many ways you can build a site that is unique. Even though you would like to build your own blog with a record of your favorite vacation. You will see lots of people who can use tips and would appreciate your feedback in your favorite hotels or sites to see.
#3 There are More Methods to Monetize Your Site Than in the past
The 3rd reason anyone can create a website making cash is there are so much more ways to earn money than ever before.
Again, after i began Ten years ago, there have been a few things you could do this. Affiliate programs and maybe sell your own eBook. But even those options were limited (there wasn't lots of affiliate merchants and only a few ways you can distribute your eBook).
But today the options are mind-boggling. For example, you are able to take A few minutes and put Google ads on your site - and begin making a revenue share from people hitting those ads.
You are able to write then sell your personal eBook out of your website as well as through Amazon as well as the Apple store. Marketing video downloads out of your website.
And affiliate programs are better than ever. (Affiliate marketing programs are in which you refer your website people to an online product. When they buy, you receive a percentage of the sale).
You can refer your visitors to everything from gourmet chocolates to motorcycle parts to outdoor fountains to pool equipment. Basically, whatever you are interested in - there's probably an affiliate program for this.
You may also make money through professional referrals. For instance, should you run a website on cosmetic surgery, you could make money from local cosmetic surgeons advertising on your site.
There are plenty of options nowadays regarding how to earn money, it's simpler than ever before. Actually many people use several of these ideas on their site to create multiple streams of greenbacks.
So those are Three reasons why anybody can build a website and make money today. Although it does take an investment of time and, it's so much easier than ever before.
If your complete 'non-techie' like me can perform it - it can be done too my friend!
