The former Rutgers professor has performed with most every important jazz artist including Dizzy Gillespie, Stan Getz, Roy Haynes, Stanley Turrentine and Yusef Lateef, is returning to Mount Vernon with bassist Kiyoshi Kitagawa and drummer Johnathan Blake.
