Having grown up the eldest son of Clint Eastwood, Kyle was exposed to Jazz from a very young age and on. His father made attending the Monterey Jazz Festival an annual family affair. Although Kyle initially studied film, his true passion was Jazz. As a composer, Eastwood contributed to the film score for Mystic River. The Film received two Oscars. Since then he has composed music and soundtracks for several Clint Eastwood films including Million Dollar Baby, Flags for our Fathers, Gran Torino and Invictus. He began his recording career in 1998 with his fifth and most recent release recorded in France, Songs from the Chateau. His compositions resonate with swing, groove and funk overtones. The lyrical bassist will be performing with his world wide touring quintet.
