The orchestra was created with the intent to promote, using music and culture as a vehicle, the unique elements of the Ribeira Sacra (landscape, ethnographic, historical, ...). Walking in the tradition and modernity in parallel.
Ribeira Sacra Jazz Orchestra presents a repertoire of compositions and arrangements of Iñaki Aszunze Parada, Galicia Basque composer. Professor specializing in jazz harmony, arranging, composition and combos at the Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country (Musikene) and composition at the Conservatory of Music Pablo Sarasate of Pamplona. Director of "Jazz Orchestra of the Pyrenees".
