Roseanna Vitro, The Randy Newman Project Dinner Concert
Thursday, June 16th; 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Vitro and Soskin, who spent years with tenor saxophonist, legend, Sonny Rollins celebrate the recent release of their Motema Records release of Sail Away The Randy Newman Project. Together, they lead a group that re-imagines the works of this brilliant songwriter, with music that marries elements of jazz, blues and country - a rich brew of influences illuminating the edgy landscape of Newman's Americana.
Vitro will perform with her recording quintet including pianist, Soskin, bassist, Dean Johnson, drummer, Tim Horner and new star on the scene, violinist, Sara Caswell, who is currently out on tour with bassist and 2011 Grammy Award Winner for Best New Artist, Esperanza Spaulding, who performed at Mount Vernon Country Club, just a few years ago. Make your reservation for this very special concert early.
As usual a delicious buffet dinner will precede the concert beginning at 6:00 p.m. The concert will start at 8:00 p.m.
The price for dinner and concert is $42.95 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Concert only seating is available for $16.00.
