Music with original concepts, limitless imagination and high energy, that is Radio Silence, the second album from London Neil Cowley Trio..
Their music can be classified as fusion jazz, but it is really more than that. London born pianist Neil Cowley studied classical at the Royal Academy, worked with the Brand New Heavies and recorded with singer sensation Adele. And all that can be found on his music. His music is an eclectic blend of textures and sound that includes jazz, classical music and rock.
It amazing the intensity and sheer power that comes out of this trio in their ingenious and haunting compositions "Monoface", "Vice Skating", "Gerald", and "Hug the Greyhound". For those who think there is nothing original going on in jazz, check out Nei Cowley Trio.
