Originally recorded in 1982 and released on the Bosco label, this reissue offers Florence's great, swinging big band arrangements and a stellar cast of sidemen: tenor men Bob Cooper and Pete Christlieb, trombonist Chauncey Welsch, trumpeter Warren Luening and drummer Nick Ceroli, among others. Florence's writing swings right off the page, and the late Ceroli is a gas throughout. Magnificent. - Owen Cordle
