John Brackett appears to be a talented musician, playing several instruments and singing in a pleasant tenor. On this release he plays and sings a mix of probable originals and some pop, although tunes are credited to publishers rather than writers. Much of these tunes are reminiscent of the early women's music movement mixing soft rock with jazz and folk. The vocalizing here also contains a hint of Broadway.
