Brazilian Horizons
Milestone
This compilation represents the exceptional diversity of Brazilian jazz. There are two Sarah Vaughan duets, "Bridges," with Milton Nascimento and "Triste," with Jobim. Other pairings include Cal Tjader and Egberto Gismonti on "Amazonas," Jim Hall and Airto on "Vera Cruz" and Joe Pass and Paulinho da Costa on "Corcovado." Add another ten cuts by the likes of Claudio Roditi and Luiz Bonfa, plus an unbelievable roster of sidemen, and you have an essential purchase for Braziliophiles.
