Montefiore Cocktail
Raccolta no. 1
IRMAmerica

The Montefiore brothers are saxophonists and producers whose previous forays have been in the acid jazz category. These 13 lounge cuts include Ravel's "Bolero," the title tune from the film A Man and a Woman, and the Star Trek theme. "Crazy Beat" has a sax solo by Germano Montefiori, inspirational model for his sons and a bandleader in Italy during the '60s. "Gipsy Woman" has a swinging samba-infused beat. Some of this is cheesy but most of it is very hip party music.
