On this solo piano outing, Joe LoCascio interprets twelve standards, including "All the Things You Are," "Stairway to the Stars," and "Call Me Irresponsible," plus two originals, "For You" and "Arnett Cobb." Among the four Strayhorn tunes are "Star Crossed Lovers" and "Passion Flower." The meditative, bittersweet mood is occasionally interrupted by the a change of pace, such as Monk's "Little Rootie Tootie."
