Joel Harrison to Present 3rd Annual Alternative Guitar Festival

Performers include Wolfgang Muthspiel, Elliott Sharp, Brandon Seabrook, Andrew McKenna Lee

Guitarist Joel Harrison will present the third annual Alternative Guitar Festival Feb. 21 from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at Shapeshifter Lab, 18 Whitwell Pl. in Brooklyn, N.Y. In addition to Harrison, who will perform “1970” with Rudy Royston and Jerome Harris, featured artists will include Vienna’s Wolfgang Muthspiel, Elliott Sharp Guitar Trio (with a new piece inspired by Gyorgy Ligeti and Terry Riley), Brandon Seabrook Trio and Andrew McKenna Lee (solo guitar and laptop).

Admission is $20. Shapeshifter Lab is two-and-a-half blocks from the Union St. R subway stop or 13 blocks from Atlantic Ave./ Barclays Center.
