Hancock, Shorter, Santana and Others to Celebrate Peace at Hollywood Bowl

Concert takes place next Wednesday, Aug. 29

A jazz concert celebrating peace will take place at the Hollywood Bowl next Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 8 p.m. Confirmed participants include keyboardist Herbie Hancock, percussionist and classical tabla player Zakir Hussain, bassists Dave Holland Marcus Miller, drummer Cindy Blackman Santana, guitarist Carlos Santana, saxophonist Wayne Shorter, Santana lead singer Andy Vargas, keyboardist George Whitty and vocalist Kalil Wilson. Jazz harmonica player Grégoire Maret and his quartet open the show.

The Hollywood Bowl is located at 2301 N Highland Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90068.
