Dancer Savion Glover to Perform with Tyner, DeJohnette & Haynes
Blue Note run takes place June 12-17
Tony award winning Ttap dancer Savion Glover, the youngest ever recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant, will perform at the Blue Note in New York City June 12-17, at 8 and 10:30 p.m. each night. He will be joined by McCoy Tyner (piano) on 6/12-13, Jack DeJohnette (drums) on 6/14-15 and Roy Haynes (drums) on 6/16-17. Each of the guests appears on Fours, a forthcoming DVD starring Glover, which will be released by Half Note Records later this summer.
